RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

Our company specializes in the research and development of diamond tools and power tool accessories for the construction and stone industries. Thanks to ongoing investment in research and development, as well as in state-of-the-art production equipment, Odiam products comply with the EN 13236 standard and are oSa-certified.

3D technology

The 3D segment allows each diamond to actively participate in the cutting process, ensuring maximum service life and cutting speed.

3D technology uses an automated process to position each diamond grain within the segment according to a predefined three-dimensional pattern, whereas a traditional disc places the diamond grains randomly due to the mixing process of diamonds and metal powders.

V3D technology

Thanks to recent technological advances by our R&D team in alloys and chemical melting formulas, V3D technology offers performance that is unmatched to date. The new V3D technology provides a 40% increase in service life and significantly improved drilling speed (70 to 80 holes in 2-cm-thick Céram stoneware in less than 15 seconds per hole).

SX Technology

SX technology is a new technology that enables cutting speeds unmatched to date.

The innovative industrial manufacturing process produces segments that are 15 mm high and shaped to allow for ultra-fast penetration into the material

In addition, this technology enables the use of next-generation binders to cover a very wide range of applications.

PK Technology

Polycrystalline Diamond (PCD)

PK technology is a process for manufacturing polycrystalline diamond (PCD). PCD is a synthetic material made from diamond crystals that combines hardness, strength, and abrasion resistance.

Manufacturing of Stripping Trays

This technology is used in the manufacture of stripping trays (ODIAM TPP tray). Its extremely high aggressiveness makes it easy to remove thick layers of adhesives or resins during renovation projects.

Disc Manufacturing

It is also used in the manufacture of cutting discs for fiber-cement, wood panels, plywood, etc.

Up to 50 times longer lifespan

PK technology discs offer a service life up to 50 times longer than that of tungsten carbide discs typically used for these applications.

MB Technology

MB technology is a new technology that delivers performance nearly equivalent to that of a diamond disc for a corded grinder, but with a cordless grinder.

MP Technology

MP technology is a method for dry drilling into the hardest materials, particularly reinforced and heavily reinforced concrete.

IG5 technology

IG5 technology is synonymous with fast cutting and durability; the blades (TIG5) resulting from this innovative
represent a complete breakthrough in the market for cutting blades with diameters ranging from 300 to
400 mm, as well as in the market for wall and floor saw blades.
